Monsoon: Part I
05:49
|
|||
Running silent, chasing in our sleep.
Lucid, dreaming of reality.
Laying, quietly burned the bridge
You seek you, beyond your own mortality.
When the air returns a shake,
And the clouds begin to cry,
When the tide is only moments from the shore….
And the birds begin to quake,
And the earth, it breathes a sigh,
All together now, we fight for:
You, yourselves, for me, and ours,
For us, it's time!
We can make it more!
Life's come ashore!
We can make it more!
Build it up, fall down the line.
Have a little piece of mine.
Expropriate these machines that grind.
Use them. Honor precious time.
We can make it more!
Life's come ashore!
We can make it more!
Build it up, walk off the line.
Have a ladle=Peace of mind!
Expropriate the machines that bind
Us to them, our precious
Time is something we never seem to have.
Time is slipping off the beaten path.
Sometimes running, other times on pause.
Crawling sideways, coming to the cause.

Monsoon: Part II
06:04
|
|||
Wake up and count your dead in silence.
Less those you sacrificed in violence.
And walk beyond the wayside, out of view.
Press your gleaned and glass-eyed face to the ground
And shed your tears into your shoes.
Surrounded bygone senseless self.
Afraid to breathe, and even more of help.
(Surrounded by god's senseless souls.
Afraid to bleed and even marvel.)
Locked and loathing, seething, choking,
Careening…oddly joking today
A knot in the Nodding All.
Storied, high…alone in the idleness
Aloft.
Or force the change?
For whom, or why
Should so shameful and exchange instead be made?
And for what?
Anyone could know!
Or just play, accuse, and flay.
(Of all, or anyone could know
Injustice in truths untold)
Somewhere, somehow, some time ago,
In line with what was, or could not be known.
Or so they say, cajole, and sway,
And reap the liar's share of prey.
So swoon this soothing here and now.
Provoke, prod, prate, prepare, and
Praise the proud!
(Before god pray to the disgrace thereof)
Believe, and look so surprised.
Cross and bless this disguise.
It's what you need to know.
(Ye need not look so surprised
Waltzing as this disguise.
It's what you needn't know)
Eight thousand years and almost nothing
Worth saving from decay, or trusting.
Forgive the living, for our misgivings
And tell your god
Whom, ever they, he, it, or she
(Until your god, whomever they
may think they are)
May still, or still not be
(A sin of peace; should all of
god's angels assault the earth they walk)
To gather in sin.
Christ! We'll salt the earth!
…and bow.

Now you have your Revolution…
Can you love your cell?
Can I love your cell too?
That is how life will be.
That is how life will be?
That is how life will be.
Then that's how.
Life will be.
Though they'll be wont to try and make you see,
Another wont will try, and take, your freedom.
O'er you cant, and suffer pleas
Until the next monsoon.

The Forest Of Szczek
09:51
|
|||
In disguise, in the trees
Breaking all the in between
All (of) you: Leave!
Rise and stray into the sun.
Without pain, sleep, awake
Rhyme your reason, and mistake
All you need, all to ring, all the same.
Skeletons come screaming from my closet.
Some stay unaware, others know I've lost it.
They dance around…hanging by my neck.
Deep in the Forest of Szczek
Second of The Three,
Insanity reigns free.
Less to say? No! More to fear!
A sound inscribed for none to hear.
Don't decry this luxuriant sadness.
Deep in the forest,
Our madness lifts us off our breaking knees
To cast an image we can please.
In the dirt, cold, inert,
Grading every grain of sand,
Being won, with or without demand.
In the smoke, hope to be,
All you seek or sought to see
In the dead…and those living for today.
Blind the cross-eyed, beg and bleed.
Right through every page.
Proclaim and do the deed.
And when struck dumb, by what is to be done
I'm here for you, children.
Grab your red book.
Steal your daddy's gun.
Disappear in the crowd.
Perverted, sanctified, endowed.
Fix or bore, holes in everything and more
Power to the prize and need.
A curiosity…
Better lesser more than free
Form and fire
Steal and seed.
Did you ever listen?
Live, or learn your lesson?
This belief in words…
One more time and you're amazing…
Two more, and you're beautiful.
Another after that, and then you'll see.
…Or contract a nude disease.
(We all rise, just to fall.
Death collects us all.
So we stall…
And pray for the rest.)

Brave The New World
08:58
|
|||
Say you would not like to leave
A place you have become.
Radiating running circles,
Waiting for the sun.
Born anew, in perfect blue
An heir to open eyes.
Released into a braver new world
Come home inside your second sight.
I know it's not me…nor usual.
Twilight in your window
Surrounding my head.
It's never day after all.
Rhymes and rules and weary
Cumbersome thread…
I'll cut your rope
and take you with me instead.
…and let it be alright.
So we think, or sought to know,
And live as one relinquished goal.
Go rake and peel and make the room
To face, feel, break, and be consumed.
Show me the way…
Down and back into the clay.
Lighting the way…
Meeting with an earlier day.
*{Say you would not like to leave
This place you hate.
No it's not me at all.}
